Exports
Export roles select months and download generated TSV content. Role and eligibility are checked again when creating the file.
Roles and outputs
| Role | Output |
|---|---|
| statistics | FNS current-template transmittal TSV. |
| supervisor | EPP adapter TSV for the actor’s team scope. |
| program_manager | EPP adapter TSV for the program. |
| admin, examiner, PEC | No export access, even where another reporting capability exists. |
Read and download
GET /api/exports lists month counts from the index’s transmittal eligibility
projection, with a snapshot fallback for null reports. With kind=fns|epp and
repeated month parameters, it loads scoped current snapshots in
released/dropped states, then calls generateMonthExport. The response is JSON
containing filename, MIME type, content, count, months and disclaimer. The client creates
a Blob download; this is not a streamed export job.
Different gates
FNS includes released reviews that pass the downstream gate and manager-approved drops. EPP uses the downstream gate and excludes drops. The common month list reflects transmittal eligibility, so its count is not necessarily the EPP row count. Download generation is the final check. Reports exclude drops even though FNS can include them.
FNS columns come from
FNS_TEMPLATE_COLUMNS/currentTemplateFnsRow; the file includes
key and inventory-label header rows. EPP columns come from
EPP_VERIFIED_COLUMN_KEYS/buildEppHandoff. Both escape
delimiter/newline/quote content and spreadsheet-formula prefixes.
Boundary
These are generated files for the synthetic application. Iris does not submit to a federal portal or write the external EPP database. For a column or gate change, check the field inventory, downstream tests, export tests, and projection/backfill behavior together.
